John has done turf work on multiple golf courses and landscaping companies in Raleigh before starting his won approach with lawn care and landscaping. John didn’t want to have a quantity over quality approach to lawn care that has stifled the green industry. Working on high end golf courses, John realized that the quality of work you put into the lawn care is the most important part of the green industry. Under no circumstance should the quality of work be sacrificed.
The goal has always been to start his own lawn care and landscaping business and bring the knowledge gained from managing multimillion dollar golf courses to the homes and businesses of Raleigh, NC.

Nationally ranked Top 100 Golf Course. John did most of the work of a maintenance employee mowing greens, fairways, rough, etc. He helped work on construction projects that were currently going on at Eagle Point as they prepared to host a PGA tournament in May of 2017. This is where John developed his meticulous attention to detail and developed a great understanding for the science of agronomy as it pertains to bermudagrass and bent grass.
Day to Day operations allowed the ability study the effects that mowing habits, heights of cut, and herbicide treatments has on turf.
Promoted to an AIT (Assistant Superintendent in Training), Eagle Point Golf Club, Wilmington NC
John took on a variety of advanced technical tasks that are required when maintaining Turf at a high level. The promotion also allowed John to take on managerial tasks and absorb as much knowledge and experience possible.
